The July Beacon Report is in! It’s been HOT, both outside in the Central Oregon sunshine and in the real estate market! The July Beacon Report has the latest numbers on median prices, days on market, and the current inventory of homes for sale in Bend and Central Oregon. The numbers, for the most part, are once again on the rise. Homes are selling at record speed, and prices are up slightly.
BEACON REPORT FOR JULY: BEND REAL ESTATE
The median price for a home in the Bend area in June was $640,000, up from $628,000 in May. This is an increase of 1.9%. The average price per square foot climbed $10, from $315 to $325, an increase of 3.2%.
The average number days a Bend home spends on the market held steady at 4 for June.

REDMOND: HOME SALES UPDATE
Median price for Redmond area homes was $451,000, up 1.8% from $443,000 in May, with the average price per square foot down $5, from $247 to $242. Redmond homes spent an average of 4 days on the market, down one day from May.
SUNRIVER: HOUSING MARKET STATS
Homes spent an average of 5 days on the market in Sunriver in June, with a median home sales price of $792,000. Current inventory of available homes continues to be very low.
SISTERS: HOUSING MARKET UPDATE
The average home for sale in Sisters, Oregon spent 4 days on the market in June, with a median sales price of $610,000, up from $525,000. As with the rest of Central Oregon, available inventory of homes is low.
